Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country music songwriter and singer. Ashley Monroe formed a group named Pistol Annies, with Angaleena presley and Miranda Lambert in 2007, followed by her release of her 2nd album titled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe performing Blake SheltonIn 2016, she released The Blade which was another extremely acclaimed album. Ashley Monroe holds a position as Assistant Village manager for Riverside Illinois. She has fifteen years' experience working in the public sector which includes nearly five year periods within Iowa City. The current Assistant Village Manager's duties include managing the Community Development and Building Department, coordinating grants and completion of specific projects. As a part of Riverside Ashley supports everyday operations of village services while taking on the strategic plan of elected officials as well as the community. Ashley's previous roles include administration planning, communications budgeting, and staff management and collective negotiation. Ashley is also passionate about climate change. Ashley can draw on her experience in various local and national organisations. Additionally, she has gained insight in the ways that public organizations function.
